Denver Spotlight Awards at ROAR Event Center

Last weekend, I had the chance to experience the Denver Spotlight Awards at the ROAR Event Center in Aurora—a venue that impressed with its spacious layout, complete with a full kitchen, a generous dance area, and a well-equipped stage. The event kicked off with a red-carpet entrance that set the tone for a night where diversity and creativity were on full display.

The ambiance was relaxed yet charged with a “this is your big night” vibe, thanks to the subtle interplay of black and purple lighting. Guests lounged and mingled, and the thoughtfully arranged VIP section added to the evening’s comfortable, upscale feel. Models and artists lined the red carpet for photo ops, with some local favorites like @Theycallhimap, @Coloradomyrical, and @troygoodmusic—who notably earned the Song of the Year award—bringing their unique styles to the forefront.

The performances were a highlight of the night. Acts like @resrface, @rayreed2, and a surprise, last-minute set from @graysontatliff_music kept the crowd engaged and energized. The evening took an extra turn when celebrity chef @questa_walker_III arrived with a selection of dishes that delighted everyone in attendance.
